Deadline breakers terminated – change to terms and conditions

I have changed Republic’s terms and conditions to terminate deadline breakers on the spot. There are no appeals or second chances.

Every now and then we get a client who says, after we have started work on their resume, ‘Please put this on hold and I’ll get back to you later.’

It’s much like asking a waiter to keep your dinner warm while you pop out and have a cigarette or maybe, re-stump your house.

I recently vented my ire here on the blog about deadline breakers. Yesterday, I changed Republic’s terms and conditions, to terminate time wasters on the spot and without appeal.

The following is why we won’t put a resume ‘on hold’ or why missing deadlines is verboten.

For every unskilled or semi-skilled job in Adelaide and NSW, on average there are between 150-200 applicants. In some cases it’s 1:400 applications.

For skilled professional positions (depending on the industry), there are about 75-100 applications for every job.

And many of those applicants use Republic Resumes and other professional writing businesses to write or upgrade their documents. We now have a waiting list of seven clients.

Time wasters take up valuable space which could have gone to a desperate and worthy job seeker.

We are at the beginning of the greatest recession in Australia’s history. In SA, it’s a labour market Depression.

Help us to help you get a job.
