A seat at the big table

Nickel and dime a waste of time

We occasionally get guys, usually in their 20s and 30s, wanting help to land them a junior executive position in a mining company.

They’re looking at a salary around $120-$130k. They want to take their career to the next level.

In Sydney or Melbourne, you’re looking at about $1000 for the resume alone.

We charge about $300-$400.00. That’s the base rate and that’s even if you’ve got an old resume. You’re looking about $150-$200.00 for a cover letter.

The reason is BHP, OZ Minerals, etc, are looking to skim the cream off the top of the labour market.

You are going to need a cracking resume full of achievements and cover letter that grabs recruiters and doesn’t let them go.

To build these executive products takes time (ours), expertise (ours) and (money) yours.

We had a chap recently who baulked at the $300 resume quote. He was targeting a $120k job coming off his current job which paid about $75k. Work it out.

You pay $450.00 to play with the big boys. And if you’re good and know your stuff, you’ll land the job.

People who nickel and dime us will never know.
