As an Adelaide resume writer, I’m not adverse for people using AI to write junior level resumes – as long as they include their qualifications and training.
They should also provide a summary of their work experience.
Unfortunately, every now and then we get a mid-level client who used AI to write their resume and they come to us to fix it after is has been rejected time and time again.
Below is an example. I’ve made comments in brackets why this resume will be spiked.
That encapsulates the problems with AI.
REAL EXAMPLE BELOW
“Seasoned (meat is seasoned ) manufacturing professional with a strong foundation in process optimization (improvement), problem-solving, and efficient operations management.
“With over (more than) two decades of experience, I have developed a keen ability to (delete: I have developed a keen ability) quickly grasp new concepts and adapt to evolving industry landscapes.
“I am enthusiastic (incorrect word) about transitioning my skills to a new manufacturing sector (which one?), where I can contribute to operational efficiency and drive positive results.
“I am committed to continuous learning and am excited to embrace new challenges. (non-sensical)
Duties (no achievements)
“Manage customer inquiries and provide comprehensive support for product (name the product) selection, orders, quotes and customisation.
“Facilitate (create) cross-functional coordination between production and sales, resulting in timely and quality product fulfillment. (non-sensical)
“Provide administrative and customer service support for sales, marketing & production through production meetings and effective communication. (mindless and non-sensical)
“Optimise (improves) account workflows: quotes, job creation, client contact and artwork coordination.
“Assist in handling NCRs (non-conformance reports – (this comes first) to resolve issues efficiently.

I’ve seen worse.
If you are using AI to write your resume, include achievements and good results.
Check the document with a fine-tooth comb as AI can include crazy things.
