AI resume technology is up and running which allows job candidates to apply for 1000s jobs in the same field at the same time.
Each resume will be ‘fine tuned’ so that it suits the specific criteria of the job.
I’ve attached the link to a YouTube clips which runs through one model.
While I can’t tell these days if the human is actually a human, this guy or robot knows his stuff.
It’s worth pondering two scenarios:
One is which recruiters are being hit by an avalanche of job applications, which they are hopelessly under-prepared to assess.
The other is where AI technology has replaced recruiters and a robot is assessing tens of thousands of applications written and formatted by other robots.
Both scenarios spell the end of recruitment as we have known it.
At the moment, most AI generated resumes are spiked because they’re generic dishwater..
There may come a time where merit and achievement is not the hallmarks of candidate selection.
Selection will fall to who can best game the systems.
I’ll leave you to ponder the future of that for corporate Australia.
