How I write resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn sites
I always supply a written quote first which is based on how long the resume or product will take to write and the level of complexity.
If you want to apply for a specific job, email me the job link. Allow for at least seven days before the job deadline.
I ask clients to send me an old resume in Word (if they have one) as this can save time and money. If you don’t have an old resume, I build one from scratch in the drafting process.
Building a new resume is a partnership. I start the drafting process online by sending a number of introductory questions. In the second and third drafts, I concentrate on results and duties.

The draft resume goes back and forth between us until it becomes a professional marketing document of your career experiences, skills and capabilities.
Most resumes take up to three drafts and about seven days to complete. I ask that clients reply to the questions in full within 24 hours.
Cover letters follow the same drafting process. It usually takes two or three drafts to get a cover letter in ‘pitch perfect’ shape. Cover letters are a ‘first strike’ weapon and I ensure they sell you.
Every cover letter will contain your professional and personal motivation for applying and what you uniquely bring to the position.
The final resume and cover letter comes in a Word document (so you can update it) and as a PDF.
I use information from the resume to create a professional LinkedIn site. LinkedIn sites are great for expanding on your workplace wins and adding graphics and media.
LinkedIn sites take about five days to launch. I ensure there is consistency and logical brand identification between the resume and the LinkedIn site. Both are interrelated sales documents.
Helpful hint: write all of your ‘wins’ down from now and go back seven years. A ‘win’ is a success – where you (or as part of a team) had a good result. Even small things count. It will save you time and money.
